Breakfast is the most important meal of our day, especially after a night’s sleep. A breakfast should be healthy, nutritious, protein giving but at the same time it should be delicious and tummy- yummy. According to the kind of lifestyle most people follow, breakfast is generally skipped or not taken seriously.

Either time controls you or you take hold of time. Breakfast is the first meal of the day and it gives us the much-needed energy for the entire day’s work. When it comes to breakfast, the options are endless. Pancakes or Muffins?  Sandwiches or toast? Eggs or salad? Why limit our taste in those morning hours? Being a mother, the first thing she would think of in the morning is “what to cook for my kid’s lunch?”. It is difficult to feed a kid! You send something which he/she doesn’t like and you will get back the lunch box as it is. So preparing a quick breakfast to pack for kids for school is quite a task.

The first thing that tickles every mom’s mind when it comes to breakfast is a Sandwich. Whether it is jam squeezed between the bread or cheese added to healthy vegetables, a sandwich is the most versatile recipe and loved by almost every kid. It is easy and quick to make. The best part is that you can experiment with the recipe of a ‘sandwich’. You could use brown bread or multi-grain bread if you are health conscious. You may stuff the sandwich with juicy veggies and lattice and add a slice of cheese probably.

2) OMELET

An omelet is one dish, which doesn’t need much pre-requisite preparation. You may spice it up as per your kid’s preference. Tomatoes and onions could be added too. An omelet could be teamed up with a slice of bread or two to make it a proper meal.

3) SCRAMBLED VEGETABLES

Serve vegetables to your kid in a delicious way. This is one very healthy breakfast dish which doesn’t even take much time to prepare. Add a little cheese and spices to make it delicious.

4) NOODLES

8) INSTANT FLAVOURED OATS

This is a semi-readymade breakfast recipe. You will easily get the flavored oats pack in the supermarket. All you have to do is cook them in water and the dish is ready to serve or pack.

9) CHOCOLATE-COOKIE BROWNIE

This is a highly delicious dish. There is a quick secret recipe which you may use. You don’t need to bake this one. This dish will take just 5 minutes in a microwave to set. Grind chocolate cookies, add milk to reach the desirable consistency. Add a spoon of baking powder and microwave it for 5 minutes.

This one is really delicious to eat. You will easily get the bread with added spices from the supermarket/bakery. Quick and easy to make, this dish will not disappoint your kid if he/she happens to be a cheese lover.

20) BURGER

This is one of the favorite dishes of many kids. Though this comes in the ‘junk food’ category but it is not a bad option to consider once in every 10-12 days. Just place a deep fried potato patty between a bun and add the wishful seasonings to it. You may add cheese, as per your wish.
