It is a complex of waterfalls and beautiful gardens along with the iconic black sand. If you look a little further, you might also happen to see Spain’s highest point, Mount Teide.

I’m not going to lie, but this place mesmerized me as soon as I looked at its pictures. Imagine, if the images could do this, then what would happen when I actually go there. No denying, this is some out of the box beach. Ice water, ice, black sand in Iceland and no tanning, isn’t this the ideal beach? All other beaches must be so jealous. For a cherry on the top, this amazing glacial lagoon was also featured in a few movies like Die Another Day, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Batman Begins, and A View to a Kill.
Lovina Beach, Bali
Lovina beach is like that fairytale beach with not much crowd, no big waves, and just the right amount of everything. It is also surrounded by seven fishing villages. Miho no Mitsubara, Japan
With the unending sandscape (get it? never mind.), this beautiful beach in Shizuoka offers an amazing view of the regal Mount Fuji. The lore has it that the beach was formerly a white sand beach before a nearby construction of a train line exposed it to volcanic rock sand. If anything, it gave the beach a gorgeous makeover.
Punalu’u Beach, Hawaii
You know a beach is famous when you have to put up signs that ask visitors to stop pocketing its sand for souvenirs. This beach on Big Island was formed when the still-active volcano Mauna Loa erupted.
Anse Céron, Caribbean
Snorkeling, dive shops, rocky shores, coconut palms and a lush green tropical jungle – the perfect ingredients for a soothing vacation at the beach. Even better when the sand is black, in contrast with the bright blue sky or the sunset orange, both look equally appealing and this beach in Martinique provides every bit of that.
